NADA may currently be a team of one, but it has never been built alone.
Friends from the running club were among the first to try the early recipes, followed by people at the gym. Their feedback helped shape the products—and one message came back repeatedly: it tastes great, but the sample packs aren't big enough.
So perhaps "Our Story" is the right name after all.
Where the name came from
Years ago, while surfing, we would shout "NADA" when there were no waves. Nothing. We were probably just trying to sound cool, but the word stayed with me.
Much later, it found its purpose.
Born from frustration
Between work, family life and training for triathlon, time was often limited. I wanted food that was quick, practical and made from ingredients I recognised—something suitable for training days, recovery meals and busy everyday life.
I looked at the options available, particularly products marketed towards active people. Many contained ingredients I wasn't looking for, while others felt unnecessarily complicated or expensive for what they offered.
I wanted something simpler.
That frustration became NADA.
A simpler approach
NADA is built around familiar ingredients such as oats, dates, nuts and seeds. Each ingredient is selected with purpose, and every recipe is developed to be practical, satisfying and enjoyable.
No gimmicks. No exaggerated promises. Just thoughtfully made food with clear ingredients.
Who NADA is for
NADA is made for people who train, work hard and live full lives.
For runners, cyclists, swimmers and adventurers. For early starts, long days and everyday movement. For anyone looking for a straightforward alternative to heavily processed convenience foods.
NADA is real-food fuel for people who want to keep moving—and enjoy what they eat along the way.
Only the beginning
The first recipes were shaped through testing, honest feedback and plenty of generous volunteers.
NADA is still at the beginning of its journey. We'll continue listening, learning and improving while staying true to the belief that started it all:
Food doesn't need to be overcomplicated to be practical, satisfying and enjoyable.
